Event Organisation and Management

The Attachment Research Community (ARC) support schools and settings to develop best attachment and trauma aware practice. ARC is a charitable organisation set up in 2017 with a mission to support all schools to be attachment and trauma aware by 2025.

Setsquare has worked with the Attachment Research Community (ARC), for a number of years providing a complete and integrated service in all aspects of communication and publicity. Our work with ARC ranges from traditional graphic design, digital marketing, website development and specialised online tools for use within schools and other settings for its members.

Brief:

Part of ARC's offer is an annual national conference. ARC required us to organise their events from initial planning to the conference day itself, including researching and coordinating with the venue to running the day, together with all the marketing and printed collateral.

Process:

Finding the right venue for the events is key. Working with ARC we were able to help guide their programme to understand the needs of the conference. This included assessing how big their main auditorium should be, the layout of the main room, if further exhibition space or any breakout rooms would be required. We then liaised with the venue to organise the full days activities which included anything from picking menu’s to designing the stage set.

Our in-house team organised and booked in their exhibitors, handled the delegate booking and collated all their key-note speaker presentations and information. We also designed and produced their delegate badges, delegate programme, PowerPoint Presentation and all event marketing (this includes, flyers and e-newsletters).

We also assisted and supported the Trustees on the day with the running of the event and helped with collecting and analysing feedback in order to build and expand their conference year on year.

We are now in our 4 th year running their annual conference and they have added a second special focus conference to their yearly events.
